Development of an evidence-based guide for assessing spirometry quality after training  - a standardised approach

Our aim was to develop a standardised evidence-based tool for assessing the quality of spirometry after training and in other contexts where spirometry is performed.  

To achieve our aim we compiled a comprehensive list of competency elements, identified from standards, guidelines, population studies and other published literature, that define quality spirometry.
